tingling, burning in arm.

I was wondering if anyone as experienced the same problem. My 26 year old daughter as a pacemaker inserted 2 years ago. roughly once a month she would get a tingling in her left arm, then would experience a burning sensation in her arm. she wouldn t pass out, but would get disorientated for a few minutes. same old story

Hi I am back with the same old story of this incredibly annoying sensation in and around my heart area! Every now and then I must suddenly have enough! I have had this irritation - whether it is called a scratching, buzzing vibration?? whatever it drives me mad! Tachycardia!

Hey guys I know it's been awhile! I have been doing really good working a lot! For the last week I have been having a really high heart rate just laying around.. It's been 145-170 while just sitting down doing nothing.. It makes me really dizzy and trouble breathing. pain in moving arm

Hi everyone
I had to let you know about my experience after my pacemaker was fitted in August last year. Subclavian vein occlusion

Since having my pm 9 months ago I have been having trouble with my arm (nearest my pm insertion) it swells turns bluey/grey and sometimes I lose all feeling in it. I think I am suffering from a subclavian vein occlusion and am awaiting to put this to my cardiologist but in the mean time was wondering if anyone has experienced this and could give me any info or advice

PMT

Hi,
I had my pacer placed when I was 22. I haven't passed out since, but I have not felt right. I am always fatigued. I have recently been diagnosed with PMT. My pacer has been turned down but I am now symptomatic feeling as if I am going to pass out. Anyone had this problem?

Can anyone help

Hi all, please can anyone help. I had my pacemaker fitted in June 2012 due to 100's of collapses and then my heart stopping for 30 seconds. Since having my pacemaker fitted I've had numerous problems but the main problem is my right arm (which is the same side as my pacemaker was inserted) has become very weak turns bluey/grey and swells. tired and confused

Hello everyone. I just need to vent yet again. Went to the ER last night with BP of 162/100. They done labs, EKG and xray. Everything was fine until 11:30 when I had run of PVCs and HR went up to `127 and the doctor called it vtach,sent me to a bigger hospital by ambulance to only have cardio come in this morning and tell me that its artifact. AF

Had my St Jude pacemaker inserted six weeks ago with everything rosy till Sunday night when I had an attack of AF with the highest pulse reading of 242 and the lowest 23 :(. It is like WTH what's going on? I thought the pacemaker would stop my pulse from dropping below 60!!!! I know it cannot prevent the high PR. I am on Sotolol for that. Does this mean ablation as the next step? Have an appt with the doc this week.

blood pressure

I am so sorry to post again. My BP was 160/100 at 10am this morning and I called my doctor he said to lay on my left side and check it later. Checked it a hour ago and it wa s162/100. Called my Primary who told me to call my cardio doc who told me to just keep a eye on it over the weekend and call on Monday if I am still having problems. I am so overwhelmed. Sorry just had to vent. I went to a firestatation each time to get it checked.

still struggling

Hi all, I just cannot seem to get it together. I am so worried. I slept from 7pm until 7am this morning, then went back to sleep at 1pm and slept until 5pm

I suddenly feel like my left hand is being shocked

6 month check up

Hope this post finds everyone doing well.
I have a 15 year old St. Jude mech. mitral valve.
In July 2012 I passed out 2 times within a month and was advised to have a pacemaker placed. Surgery went well. I went in for a 6 month follow up since the placing of my Boston Scientific pacer. Nerve pain

About six months after having my pacemaker implanted in 2002 I have noticed pain down my left side of my body. Same side that my pacemaker is on. I've been to drs and pain clinics and no one seems to find anything wrong. They tell me it's fibromyalgia. I believe it has to be a pinched nerve. I have numbness and tingling and pain in my pinkie and ring fingers. I also have weakness and drop a lot of things. I hate living in pain everyday. Anyone else have issues? Rob - Age 52; Update

Greetings -

First, I wanted to thank the people inthis space that privided me with numerous insights and information regarding a "blip" I had withmy pacemaker. Apparently, I had a period about a week ago where I had a high heart rate and the MD asked me to come in.

As an update, today I had my visit. He said it could be a blockage, even though I am not sympthomatic and have no history. So, he is setting up a CT Scan and I guess we will take it from there.
