Hi I am back with the same old story of this incredibly annoying sensation in and around my heart area! Every now and then I must suddenly have enough! I have had this irritation - whether it is called a scratching, buzzing vibration?? whatever it drives me mad! Had it constantly now since January with no break - pacemaker fine after tests and no doctors seem to know what it is just tell me there is no obvious answer! Please anyone any idea and what I can do next? I do have fibromialga which is a cover all for most things in doctors eyes, Look forward to chatting with someone who may have similar or a suggestion. No advice whatsoever but it's nice to see someone else with a mom who knows how to spell :o)

A pacemaker suddenly quitting is no more likely to happen than you are to be struck by lightening.
Hope this helps..

Tracey, I googled your symptoms (which you've probably done a million times but wth) and I found this interesting response from another person, might be worth looking up just to see and compare symptoms:
"I just started having this vibrating sensation about 4 mos. ago and finally went to a doctor. He said he thinks it is Silent Reflux and he gave me same pills to try for 10 days. I have been on them for 5 days and have noticed the vibrating has almost completely stopped. I think it has to do with the esophagus flap or something. I don't have acid reflux symptoms which is why they call it "silent" reflux. Hope this helps other people."
