Hey guys I know it's been awhile! I have been doing really good working a lot! For the last week I have been having a really high heart rate just laying around.. It's been 145-170 while just sitting down doing nothing.. It makes me really dizzy and trouble breathing. I hate calling my heart doctor for every little thing because he makes light of every situation and it makes me feel like I'm just annoying him and its in my head .. I don't know what to do ? I'm on a beta blocker called metropolol once a day and I feel like its not helping anymore.. I have been on almost every beta blocker the heart doctor said this was the last one to try... Has this happened to anyone? Before my pm the only problem I had was bradycardia and PVC's which were taken care if with three ablations... I was doing so good and there goes my crazy heart what should I do? Thank you for reading and hope everyone is Doing good!

Hi! Stephanie, .Glad you have doing so well. You seem concerned about several recent symptoms. I think like most of us, you don't want to be a bother or deal with the sometimes lengthy hassle of a diagnosis , so we try to go our way in denial. You know your body. You are not new to this. Please get your symptoms evaluated now. Take care and let us know how you are doing. Hopeful Heart
Call the doc

If it bothers you, you should bother him. If he doesn't want to take care of your concerns, then maybe another doc is the next step. Sometimes we have to remind ourselves that THEY WORK FOR US!! and we pay them either directly or thru insurance or however it happens.
Have you called your cardio yet?

What you are experiencing is NOT "...just every little thing..."! It is indicating something is wrong - perhaps seriously wrong. You don't get answers, gat a new Cardio!

Afib. I have Afib & a rate that high before an AV node ablation (2000 only option) & a PM. I ignored fatigue, SOB, etc for 3 days & went into CHF & pulmonary edema. May not be your case but why risk it. If cardio won't help, find another cardio.
