I'm 42 years old and had to have a pm installed 11 days ago then had to go back in to have a wire repositioned 9 days ago. Should I feel like a million bucks yet? Today was my first day back to work and by 4 pm I was exhausted. Prior to pm I was able to do T25, so I'm in good shape physically. Is it normal? Should I start some sort rehab?

Hi
I had my cardiac loop recorder inserted late yesterday and the wound appears to be slightly oozing (white appearance) under the clear waterproof dressing.
Obviously it is sore still as its fresh but I'm not sure of its worth getting someone to look at it? Is this normal? Advice anyone please :)

Hi. Boston Scientific Vitalio MRI SAMURAI Clinical Study for ImageReady MR Conditional Pacing System. Implanted at the University of Chicago Feb. 4, 2014. So far, so good, Love this site! I'm an active 78 female, at least a 10-15 yr. history of asymptomatic bradycardia, but in Dec. began to get about 3 different kinds of vertigo, lightheadedness, and tiredness. Also very high blood pressure. Met with doctor for 6 mo. general checkup on a Wed., and had surgery the next Tues. However, I've...

A few weeks ago she took out new life insurance on me thru her employer. Then yesterday in addition to a Vday card she bought me DeMetts Turtles and a coconut cream pie. I am suspicious. Either she loves me a great deal, or she has other plans. Hmmm.

Hi, I have got a Boston Scientific Pacemaker installed a few days back. I am now recovering post-surgery. My model is Altrua 50. Just want to know if anybody here has the same model and what is his experience. Those experts in pacemakers are also requested to answer.

It's snowing hard and fast, so beautiful. I love it. Lest new people on here get the wrong idea I just want to mention SOME of us don't sit around in Jammie's and bunny slippers every time it snows. ...I'm very productive, fully dressed on the couch under my favorite cable knit blanket with a cup of Cacao's sippable heart healthy dark chocolate...
And Tatman we might have to postpone that renaming ceremony due to weather...but feel free to call me Bossy until its official.
Thanks!!!

Often in postings, or on other websites, it is said when there is an emergency to call 911. This is for US. Please everyone, could it be said to call the emergency number in your country. Some years ago a person died here in Australia, as the one calling emergency called 911 and could not understand why there was no response. The caller had obviously been watching too many American movies, and panicked when in an emergency situation. Here in OZ it is 000, in New Zealand 111, in UK 999. I d...

The monthly NP meeting this evening was a presentation on ablations by an EP tonight. Very interesting. Had a delightful conversation with the EP and a St Jude's rep, who assured me they could tweak my settings for running and encouraged me to come in and get it done. So once my ortho says I can run again I will definitely give them a try. After a very encouraging conversation with them I have new hope. They seemed like they actually want their patients to stay active and want to help them optim...
