SPA DAY

If you went to a spa what exactly is it ok to use if you have ICD?Can you use steam/sauna-didn't think you could use either?what about hydrotherapy pool?Just received leaflet about Salt Cave where you go and sit in a room filled with salt and supposed to help with things like sinusitis-anyone ever tried this-is it a new thing?any thoughts appreciated,

You can try the sauna. Nothing about the icd will prevent you from using it but the underlying reason why you have it may make it a bad idea. I tried it twice and felt pretty bad within a few minutes so I don't use saunas. Hot tubs, salt pools, massage, hydrotherapy- I've never had trouble with any of those.

Never heard of a salt room, but salt lamps are quite popular now. I got my dad one for Christmas. I'll confess it was chosen mostly as a joke (they are supposed to be very calming) but he loves it. He has it in his store and clients comment on it constantly. He went out and bought another one for his house. Go figure. You'd have to know my dad to know how incongruous this is, my dad is NOT into anything metaphysical, new age, etc.
