Anyone else feel their PM self testing? Mine does this at least once a day. Strong pulsing sensation from the Pacemaker itself. Mine is a Boston scientific essentio dual lead.
Is it really just mine?

Have acclimated fairly well to the PM (St Jude) in nine weeks. Inserted for afib so I could tolerate medication, but asthma ruled out meds. Had ablation three weeks ago. Just did a half mile uphill walk requiring me to stop numerous times with lightheadedness. Had PM tuned and all is well on the flat. Anyone have anything similar?
One week after my implant ... could use some advice, please.

Last Saturday, for the second time, I passed out while driving my vehicle. Fortunately, there was no major property damage on either occasion. Notwithstanding, for my wife, who was a passenger both times, it was quite the adventure! Although I have made light of the experience, it was a rather serious "cardiac episode."
As it turns out, the fainting spells that I have been having were the result of an escalating series of heart block events that had been occurring over t...

Hi fellow pacers. I am 8 weeks in with new St. Jude tri-lead pacer only, 62 years old, very active and a good rule follower so have following all restrictions and guidelines. Over the last 48 hours I have felt a tightness and under the skin "pulling" discomfort. Not pain perse but obvious discomfort. I haven't done anything outside of the ordinary that I'm aware of. When do growing pains go away and does this sound familiar to any of my fellows?...

I've had a pacemaker since I was 4 days old... I'm now 20 and I just moved across the country from California to Kansas. And when I arrived here I noticed that my left arm always felt sore or tired as if I've been working out, And along with this I've felt the center of my chest have pressure and then it goes away after a while. And I've had the same pacemaker for about 6 years now and I've just started to feel these sudden spasms around the location where my pace...

THAT WAS NOV 7TH AND I HAD THE NEW IMPLANT DONE ON THE FIRST OF DEC. ANYONE KNOW IF THIS WOULD BE A PROBLEM AND MIGHT HAVE CAUSE ME PERMENT DAMAGE.&...

Hi my names Arye I’m 22 and I’ve had a pacemaker for 2 years. I’m bradycardia(spelled wrong i believe) anyways, every so often i feel “funny” almost dizzy like, last night i took a simple drink of water and started to fade in and out of a black out. In my mind this isn’t normal, do i need to be concerned? Any advice would be appreciated as I’m a little freaked out

Received pacemaker in December because sotalol (for afib) was causing my heart rate to drop too low (50's during the day and high 30's during the night). Pacemaker implantation went well and after six weeks rate was set at 60 bpm. My heart rate consistently was beating at 60 bpm since then even when doing light exercise. But this past week my heart rate has increased to 68-70 bpm most of the time. Only time I get 60 bpm is early morning upon arising. Wonderin...

Hi all,
sorry for the long post...
I have a complicated medical history, I have a rare genetic syndrome called Carney complex. I have had open heart surgery 3 times to remove myxomas from my chambers. I no longer have any adrenal glands as they were misbehaving.
I had PJRT which is generally a childhood disorder but was ablated in 2014.
I have always had a bonkers heart rate, well as long as I can remember. After the last surgery it kicked off because...

It's been a while! *hangs head in shame*!!
I am on Pacemaker No. 2 now!! Doing ok!
New puppy this year, who makes me get out there and do lots of walking - so health wise, not too bad!
Hope you are all ok, and the 'USUAL SUSPECTS' - you know who you are - are doing well!
