Hi I have been pacing for 3weeks now. I have started having spasms on my right side that my wife says feels like a baby kicking to her. From reading the forum I see I am not alone. That certainly makes me feel better.

Well, it did the job on me today. First time it fired off. Been feeling bad the last couple days with a cold. Lite headed, I tried to get up and go to the bathroom. Didn't make it. I passed out cold. My wife got me up into the lounge chair and I was having a very hard time breathing. She called 911. They got to my house in a couple minutes. Well they had me hooked up to a EKG and was working on me. All at once, the CRT-D fired. Really wasn't what I expected. The tech was over me and he even saw...

18 months ago I had a 25 mm Cribiform Septal Occluder device implanted to close a hole in my heart (ASD/PFO with ASA). I have had increasing bradycardias and passing out. Dr gave me nitro spray in a tilt table test and my HR dropped to the 20s and stopped for 4 - 5 seconds. Trying for years to tell them I had pauses not only PVCs. I was given ll the wrong meds that made me worse because I could not convince anyone. I have been much worse since the test. My legs are shaky and my chest hurts and I...

Hi everyone! I was able to shower today and that felt great! However, last night my sight started to feel really tight and hurt when I walked. I'm only one week in. Today I feel a little light headed and kind of like I can feel my heart in my throat again. I'm also gaining weight which is a real bummer cause I had lost 30 lbs before I to my pm.
Invited to a concert at a small theatre in town and now I'm wondering if that is safe. It's an old 70's rock band.
I'm more anx...

Hey Guys!
My name is Courtney and I would like to share my story with y'all! When I was 5 years old I experienced fainting spells. I mainly got them when I was by myself and never told my parents. Then on Thanksgiving night, I fainted in front of my entire family. I was rushed to the hospital and got a pacemaker implanted. The first implant somehow was not put in correctly and I could not stop bleeding. They took me in again and it was a success! It was weird going back to school (kindergar...

Hiya,
I have been having Pacemakers since the age of 9.
I am on my 3rd Pacemaker, however, have been operated on 5 times due to issues after surgery in the 2nd and 3rd replacement operations.
I have been told there is a lot of scar tissue in the area the boxes have been.
I also suffer now with a lot of pain in the area.
Has anyone else had several operations and also has any pain issues?
Do you have any advice on how to ease the pain etc...

Tomorrow I get a PM. I don't know what scares me more, the actual procedure or the fear of lifting my arm accidentally and dislodging the leads. I know I shouldn't be afraid as I've read what so many others here have gone through here in this group. I'm just nervous.

I need some feedback...last April i got a rate response pacer for bradycardia. Since then I've had more and more conduction problems, skipped and blocked beats, PVCs ect. Now they are talking about putting in a ventrical lead(I only have an atrial now). How common is this? I'm a little nervous and not too happy. I have a 2 month old baby that I want to continue to nurse.

Just popping in to say hi to all and hope all are doing good. Myself, well good and bad days. Last doctors appointment didn't do any good other then adding more meds. Only good thing about that is that I don't have to eat anymore. I get a full meal just on them.
The real big problem is were they placed the picc line in my arm. It kinks up often. Not a good feeling at all when I get it unkinked. It shoots a lot of Dobutamine in me all at once, making my heart go to the races. So bad th...
