Not feeling that great

Hi everyone! I was able to shower today and that felt great! However, last night my sight started to feel really tight and hurt when I walked. I'm only one week in. Today I feel a little light headed and kind of like I can feel my heart in my throat again. I'm also gaining weight which is a real bummer cause I had lost 30 lbs before I to my pm.
Invited to a concert at a small theatre in town and now I'm wondering if that is safe. It's an old 70's rock band.
I'm more anxious than ever and I already had an anxiety problem. Yikes!

It takes time

There is a post a few threads down title "Paranoia". It talks about suddenly being more aware of your heart beat. Some good answers there so give it a read and see if it helps.
Your incision site is still healing and nerves are knitting back together too. It will feel "tight" off and on.
Your device may need some adjustments but I would let it settle in first. You still have swelling and healing to do.
Try to watch what you eat like HurtHeart said since you will be less active for a few weeks. That's what I did with a recent surgery. You worked too hard to lose it.
Go to the concert but don't sit right in front of the speakers. When I first got my ICD, we went to a music festival and sat up front. Aside from the reverberation, I did not feel well and jumped up when I "remembered" my ICD. Well, we all moved further away and it felt much better in my chest. I guess the massive speakers (and they were massive) had massive magnets??
Enjoy the concert and try to relax. Just know your PM is working for you behind the scenes.
If the lightheadedness continues, call your Doctor to ease your mind.

Get a grip

I am trying to get a grip and that's why I have joined this sight. I live in a small town in upper michigan and do not know anyone with a pm. Being a newbie brings nerves and a lot of questions. I was perfectly healthy until I went for a colonoscopy. A week later I had a pm. Thanks for your advice and support. I greatly appreciate your time and insight.
