Arm pain answers on the way

Saw my family doc of over 30 years today, and he did a basic neurological check of my left arm. His conclusion is that I have peripheral nerve damage likely caused by the position I laid in for 90 minutes before and during surgery. Since surgery was July 30, I have significant weakness (which I was starting to be aware of). Not much to do but wait and hope the nerves heal themselves.

update on arm pain

I posted a while back about left arm pain following my pacemaker implant. Well, here I am 11 weeks out and still having pain with increasing numbness and tingling. I think it is my ulnar nerve since it is my little finger and outside of ring finger that have gotten numb over the past day. I see a neurologist next week. Tightness in shoulder and sore

Hello all,
I'm a 33yr old male and former athlete and baseball coach. Unfortunately, I have autonomic dysfunction that causes my heart rate to drop to the 30's. My pacemaker has kept me from passing out. But, I have done some pushups, bicep curls, and just normal lifting and leaning on my left arm and I have had bad pain for weeks now. need ideas for pain

10+ weeks post PM implant and I still have pain on the inside of my left arm between shoulder and elbow as well as pain/extreme sensitivity over my scar. The scar hurts just with clothing touching it. I know this isn't right and am trying to get help. My scar appears to have developed into a hypertrophic scar (which I never heard of until I read it on this board and looked it up). Sounds as if injections of Kenalog-10 may help with this? Fluttering PLEASE HELP

Hello, if you read my first post it explained how I have an arrhythmia. My doctor set it so my pacemaker is the communicator instead up my chambers communicating to tell it when and how fast to beat. I have a set rate the is lowest of 60 and high of 150 beats a minute. Stupid question.??
I've recently been monitoring my heart rate and there's a fractured lead in my icd... guess noone told me this at the drs office until my last icd ck, . And here's my???

Pocket infection from pacemaker site 2 yrs old!

Feeling pretty down about now. Been a while since I posted End of September after fighting a staph infection for 5 months with no relief I was sent to Baylor Medical to get the 3 wires removed. 2 years ago I had 5 heart surgeries in 4 days including a thorocotamy but the drs left the 3 dead pacemakers in the old site - the PM was moved to my abdomen. Itch

My scar is barely visible too, makes me think that it would be even if you didn't use some kind of cream. It isn't the scar that is itchy, it is the flesh around it. I have used up one tube of Hydrocortisone and will use whatever else I can find that stops each.....hmmmm, I wonder how Preparation H would work...
I' ve heard that it shrinks the bags under the eyes. You can never tell what these magical potions can do.

chest pain

started two months ago....

Whats next?

I had a pacemaker installed in Feb 20011. I have had limited success with afib since then they tried doing a cardio-version (3), 3 ablations the last being a full severing of all the nerves between my upper and lower cambers which seemed to be successful until one month ago.
