A Traffic Cop pulls over an Old Lady for Speeding
Older Woman: Is there a problem, Officer?
Traffic Cop: Yes ma'am, I'm afraid you were speeding.
Older Woman: Oh, I see.
Traffic Cop: Can I see your license please?
Older Woman: Well, I would give it to you but I don't have one.
Traffic Cop: Don't have one?
Older Woman: No. I lost it 4 years ago for drunk driving.
Traffic Cop: I see...Can I...

I just got my pacemaker 2 days ago and am 21 years old. Monday the 24th in the evening i started an antibiotic for a chest cough and drs wanted to clear anything up before surgery. On Tuesday i noticed clear sticky fluid leaking not much at all but i figured it was the meds. Today was the first time seeing my chest but i noticed my left side much fuller and not sure if its the meds or really swollen from surgery or something else

My best friend and I were discussing it last night and came up with the idea of a flash mob! Lol we're planning on organising it next hear I'll keep you posted!

Diagnosis SSS. Hx of syncope. I ve been fighting pm quite awhile now. Was sent to world renown specialist DR Grubb, who spent 3.5 hours with me. Anyway long story short...he is suggesting Biotronik pm which also monitors blood pressure. I live in Fl My cardio here uses medtronics, although he sent me to Ohio to see Dr Grubb. Dr Grubb is willing to take me on as a patient and do surgery. Does anyone know the pros and cons of Biotronik s Medtronic. I will also feel funny/bad changing doctors...

Hi Everyone
six weeks ago I went in for a checkup & the tech told me that I would possibly be having my pm changes within 6-8weeks & she scheduled me for a six week check.
yesterday, I went in for the check, & this time the tech told me the battery had at least 1 - 7 months worth of power left. to put it mildly, I was not pleased when he told me that I would have to wait at least another 2 - 3 months before I had it changed.
I told him that I didn't want to wait...

Hi,
I am a teenager working at McDonald's. I typically work the window, but I'm afraid that the wirless frequencies from the headset might affect my pacer. My managers do not know if it is electromagnetic or not. I don't want to wear the headset and damage the pacer, but I don't want to get into trouble at work. Does anybody have an answer? I would REALLY appreciate it.
Thanks,
Carly

I'm on day 21 and I am still in a CHB status post a AVNRT ablasion. I am to follow up with my EP Oct. 22 with hopes that I still have some swelling and may have a chance of coming out of it however I'm not so optomistic with this much time passing. I'm still handling the block okay with my rate 48-65 max but a little anxious about waiting so long before going ahead with the pacemaker. I'm just going to take one day at a time and if it gets to a point I can't handle it my doc said just to call. M...

* No devices approved by the FDA for reuse
* Two manufacturers oppose reuse or reprocessing

I am 50 years old and was fitted for a dual chamber pacemaker July 25 2012 for Sick Sinius Syndome. I have read were SSS normally gets worse over time, does this mean my life with be shortened by the Syndome ? I am an emotional wreck from all of this, still trying to adjust.

It's been three weeks since they fixed the hole a lead punched through my heart. I did some moderately hard work today (still keeping my arm down) and felt kinda weird. But I think that's appropriate to this stage of the game; just little aches and pains and different feelings than I am used to.
I am just SOOOO greatful to be rid of that feeling like someone just stabbed my through the chest with an ice pick!!!!
They want me to take it a little easy for a while longer than...
