Hi, I know this message will sound stupid, as I'm really not a bright person who learns all the big words, or is even capable of spelling them (or many of the small ones). At any rate....

Problems with pacemaker and yoga

Hi , had a pacemaker fitted 4 years ago due to 3rd degree heartblock. When the devise was first implanted I only used it 26%of the time but recently went to 100% is this a common thing? Now I am pacing 100% I don't understand why my heart sometimes beats too fast for the situation. Ventricular Pacing

Dual chamber pacemaker placed in 2013 for Brady-tachy syndrome. Normally demand paced in the atrium with occasional pacing of the ventricles. I am now 19 weeks pregnant and have all of the sudden been pacing in the ventricles anywhere from 60-91% (up from 2% prior to pregnancy). They tried reprogramming due to undersensing in the ventricle, but it has not helped. Has anyone had anything like this happen?

Heart rate dropping constantly after pacemaker surgery

Received pacemaker for Vasovagal syncope because of blood drawn I flat lined for 24 seconds; 9 days after surgery the pacemaker data showed 747 episodes of heart rate dropping episodes of at least 25bpm! - For example: 77bpm - within 1 or 2 heartbeats it drops to 44bpm.  

Before pacemaker tests show I had no abnormal arrhythmias or bradycardia. - I wore a holter monitor for a week with positive readings and no signs.

ulnar nerve damage from pacemaker installatioin?

I had a pacemaker installed on April 8. On July 1, I stopped being cautious about moving my left elbow above my shoulder and right around that time I started noticing numbness in my left pinky finger and the outside edge of my left ring finger. I went so see my primary care provider last week and he thought I had bumped my elbow which affected my ulnar nerve and put me on a regimen of alleve twice a day for inflammation and told me to come back in a week if it wasn't better. location of pm

My Consulta crt-p was placed under th epectoral muscles about 8 months ago. It seems to be more superficial than that now at least with the top portion of the device appearing to be more just under the skin than under a muscle. My EP doc was not sure why that was the case and added that rarely thye have to go back and do a reimplant if the superficallly placed prtion get inflammed.

Does anyone have any experience with this or any thought? Thanks .

Pacemaker and possible Diastolic Dysfunction

Time to settle

I'm 1 week post AV node ablation and honestly feel no different, HR in the 90's quite a lot of the time and when out for a walk (flat) still got the tight chest/ throat.

Hve tried to get in touch with Consultants but no luck yet, should have an appointment in 3-4 weeks time, was wondering if I could have junctional rythm, or will that go along with the ablation. 30 day monitor

I just got done with a 30 day monitor cause I am usually 100% paced in both sinus and av node but after my last interrogation I started having tachycardia again and sometimes I am atrial sensing instead of pacing which causes a great deal of pressure and chest and in my back between my shoulder blades. I'm currently waiting for the dr to call to talk about the report, I know I lost 4% of atrial pacing and I had a run of VT during the night while sleeping. Has anyone ever experienced this?...

sleep apena

3 weeks ago had a pacemaker installed also have sleep apena and a serve case of copd

my pulse rate is still high around 120 my blood presure is very good

but my main problem is I sleep with a cpap 

my ahi levels have increase to 30 and 40 range I wake up earlier and refreshed can not take a nap

Recent pacemaker relocation due to near skin perforation

Hi there I had my pacemaker recently relocated due to it becoming too superficial to the skin and was almost eroding. It was moved down and slightly deeper but not under the muscle as was original plan. My leads from collarbone to scar were slightly superficial before op but are even more pronounced now and I'm wondering if anyone knows if it's possible they can perforate? Please help eri mode!

Atrial-tachycardia

Hello. I have 3rd degree heart block and got my pacer April 2009. I'll be getting a new one in a few months. I had an Afib-ablasion in March. all was going well untill 2 weeks ago. I've had 2 episodes of atrial-tachycardia. Cardiologist thinks my pacer is keeping up with my upper chamber when it begins to flutter. This is like rel-iving the panic attacks, constant anxiety I had the first 3 months after my pacer. Has anyone developed atrial tachycardia?

Hi, I would like someone's opinion. I got a pacemaker about a month ago because my heart rate was dropping in the high 30's-40's. I was also having symptoms of what I thought was just going to sleep the Dr's said I was passing out. So I have started passing out again!! Well when I'm passed out I can't check my pacemaker. insomnia

My wife has had a pacemaker for 3-4 years. She had insomnia before the PM, but now she is convinced that everyone with a PM has sleep problems. She took ambien years ago, which heled, but now she has developed tolerance and dependence to the point where she gets mail order pills from India, and I am seeing sporadic memory, thinking, and dementia-like symptoms that are really hard to live with. Sometimes I feel like I did before the pacemaker!

Sometimes I still get that lightheaded, dizzy, "palpitaty" feeling that I got before I had the single lead pacemaker implanted for SSS about 4 months ago.  I am also still a bit exercise intolerant and I get super dizzy after bending over or standing up sometimes.  Everyone said I would feel great and be able to run regularly again after I got the pacemaker, but I just don't.  I have been back once to have it checked and the Dr. assures me I'm fine....
