I had a pacemaker installed on April 8. On July 1, I stopped being cautious about moving my left elbow above my shoulder and right around that time I started noticing numbness in my left pinky finger and the outside edge of my left ring finger. I went so see my primary care provider last week and he thought I had bumped my elbow which affected my ulnar nerve and put me on a regimen of alleve twice a day for inflammation and told me to come back in a week if it wasn't better. Which I did today and now he has prescribed physical therapy and some nerve conductivity testing. But.. I am a yoga and movement therapist and I was reading some information tonight about the biomechanics of the shoulder and it occurred to me for the first time that the nerve issue might be related to the installation of my pacemaker. Can anyone in the PMC comment on this possibility?

It's very rare but not unheard of for the nerves to be affected by insertion of a pacer, however it's more likely that something is just pinched from weeks of lack of use. Therapy should fix it quickly.
