Hi for a couple of months I've been feeling a pulsing sensation under left breast. Sometimes weak, others strong. It can last all day and on other occasions just a short period of time. I've timedit and it's in time with my pulse. In addition getting breathless when I go upstairs, but can manage a spin class.
Ive had my pacemaker for four years and had this strange sensation for the last few months.
Local GP says it is a muscle twitch but I'm not...

Hello everybody!
it has been quite a while since I last posted and a lot has happened since last time so I feel like I should update you guys just in case some of you were missing me haha;) but since my last post I started college and started playing DIII Lacrosse. It seems that even though lacrosse can be a heavy contact sport, my pm is well protected from most impacts and I have really grown to like the sport a lot.
I still feel the thumping feeling in my chest whenever my...

I have now had a CRT system for one year. I have basic pacing through the bundle of His.I also have a left ventricular lead. My Ekg went from a typical left bundle branch block pattern to a QRS nearly the same as before the LBBB developed.I do have left axis deviation which the EP doc and I agree ( I am a pulmonary physician who has had a crash review and course in EP 101 over the last year) is likely a left anterior fasicular block. The left ventricular lead is in place "...

If too much fluride in city water system can it harm one with PM. Where I live is entering putting fluride into system and I have a suspicion that it is too much as getting dizzy, weakness and diarrhia but can it harm the PM? Thank You! Have a very good Holiday. I know that I won't with the God awful taste of that stuff!

It has been 6 weeks since I had my 2 lead Biotronik Pacemaker inserted. I've had one adjustment by the EP.
I have been extremely tired and can sleep 16+ hours everyday. I have kept up my appointments with all my other physicians. My PCP is going to run some test to see if he can find anything wrong.
I have read several others on here with severe tiredness. Has anyone else experienced tiredness of this magnitude for this long?
Thanks

I may vaguely remember banging my PM/incision---it wasn't hard by any means if I recall it at all---about 8-9 days ago. Suddenly---and I do mean suddenly--about 4 days ago this really pale---like the very end stage of a black and blue---showed up under the well healed (3 months) incision line. No pain, no redness, no heat, no swelling, no fever, incision line intact and healthy looking---I feel fine. It is just odd. I'd call the doctor but it would take me weeks to get in and, frankly...

I had 3 BP readings over the past 2 days. 2 of them taken by 2 separate Physical Therapists... each with their own cuff on different days and the 3rd by a cuff we own.
Nothing in the left arm....it's as if the machines are broken. One PT said she couldn't hear a pulse in my left arm either. The other PT never mentioned a pulse. They all showed a reading in my right arm though. The last one today was 125/66. My le...

I went in for a BP check up and 3 days later I had a PM put in. I'm still trying to figure out what just happened. I have sat and cried and worried. I was very active before and am worried what life will be like with it. This is a very scary time for me. I've been reading all the positive remarks and stories how the PM made your lives better. I hope I can get there.

This is fascinating to me and makes me hopeful for the future.
I was told in July (2016) that this tiny pacemaker would not work for my condition (Complete Heart Block). However, technology is advancing so quickly and I am hopeful that this may be available to many of us for our next devices!

After two rounds of antibiotics and seven weeks i feel good. Most importantly i still have the pacemaker. Thanks for a fantastic cariologist at Baptist Health Lexington, Kentucky.

I have sick sinus syndrome with bradycardic pauses and had a pacemaker as a result nearly 7 years ago as a teenager.
My finacee last year was identified to have a cardiac rhythm condition causing VT. The diagnosis is still to be confirmed from genetic testing but suspected to be either ARVC or CPVT. Both are causes of sudden adult death. Both are dominant genetic mutations giving a 50/50 chance of passing it on to future children.
We both wish to have children within t...

Hi. I had my pacemaker fitted on the 28th on the last month and every day since (bar 3 days) I've felt my pacemaker kicking in. The only way to describe it is palpitations in the centre of my chest that feels like a fluttering and makes me want to cough, it like catches my breath.
I've tried to find people who have had similar feelings but can't find any.
I still have my loop recorder so when I first had the feelings I pressed my symptom monitor, did a down...

I received a pacemaker in September due to a complete heart block. Since my surgery I constantly have a sore throat that radiates to my right ear.
I never had this issue until I had this surgery.
I did not have a tube down my throat during any surgery.
I do not have cold or flu symptoms.
It always feels better after I eat or drink something warm, but the pain immediately returns.

Looking for some help on connecting my Merlin@Home into a WiFi network without the provided intermediary hot spot.
My cardiologist is providing a SJM EX1150 monitor. The instructions tell me to plug in a TP-link TL-WN721IN USB wireless network adapter and a TP-Link Wireless Access Point, attached by CAT5 to a router. I plugged the wireless adapter into my laptop with the access point on, and it looks like it's broadcasting an SSID of MAP043. The...
