recovery after replacement

As GoodDog said, the only restrictions will be keeping the incision clean. I'm on my 5th, have left for vacation less than a week after two of them. I found the pain after replacements to be only a fraction of what it was the first time. There won't be any driving restrictions, lifting is whatever feels ok.
Thank you

Thank you. wound is in its healing process. its dry and looks good. but whenever i move my left arm to right side i can feel the pacemaker on my chest like a solid feeling. is it normal for few weeks? cause i didnt use to feel my previous pacemaker. its kind of a discomfort feel.
normal

That's normal! Especially if the new one isn't the same size as the old one. Things will settle down in a few weeks. Ice may help.
Thankx again

One week has passed and I must admit that each day I feel a little stronger.
Travelling

My experience has been that with a simple generator replacement there are no restrictions after 2 weeks other than keeping the incision area clean and dry. Maybe just be careful not to do anything that might irritate the area (like heavy lifting and/or stretching). However, it never hurts to call and ask your doc!
