I am a 34 year old Female! I cant catch my breath, my heart feels.like its going to pound out of my chest, Lightheaded Dizzy, and been dealing with this since July 2012! I have had every test you can think of but everything has come out normal! Now I have been so dizzy lightheaded and short of breath going on 5 days with no hope in sight! The EP dr told me I was too young and they cant find a reason to have a PM installed my heart muscles are healthy! Can someone help me figure this out? I need...

Hi Guys,
I had a pacemaker implanted about 3 months ago and have lost about 15 pounds since then. I am eating the same amount as before. Is this because they have increased my pulse rate and i am burning calories faster?
Thanks!

So...this is what its like. Feeling better than before the surgery. I'm not used to not being dizzy and light headed most of the time! I have breath. What's with the energy I feel? I haven't felt that in a few years. I have an underlying energy, feels really neat to have energy again. I just can't explain it correctly...I'm just not in the mood to nap any more...naps were great things in my life until last week. I always needed them. I certainly don't dislike naps but really I just don't...

I work in the foodservice industry and I will be getting a pacemaker. I have to walk into storage freezers quit often to pick up product. I usually am not wearing heavy clothing when I go into the freezers (just a regular jacket). Do the below zero temperatures affect the pacemaker?

I have had my PM for 4 mos, for SSS. I am experiencing a few symptoms. I'm hoping someone will be able give their insight.
Headaches at bed and most of the day. I get tired more easily - better than I was before the pacemaker. I was feeling pretty good a bit ago, but getting tired again.
I've had my PM adjusted a month ago. I'm 65.

I am scheduled for cardiac cath and ablation tomorrow morning. I had a pacemaker inserted October of 2013, followed by an ablation and pacemaker revision in March of 2014. Initially, my pacemaker was inserted for bradycardia. Since the pacemaker, I have had daily tachycardic episodes, hence the original ablation. However, I continue to have these episodes, so EP decided to completely ablate my av node. I thought this was completed last ablation, however not completely. Anyway, my question is how...

First day back to work today after getting my PM about a week and a half ago for SSS. I feel pretty good, i can tell there is a difference, but i still got that tired, and dizzy-out of it-feeling around noon today. I already had one adjustment made on my first follow up visit after my procedure. How long before I start feeling "really great" or "like a million bucks" like the EP and nurses told me I would ?

So I just got my pm 2 days ago. Morning after my surgery I got and ekg...830am. Everything looks great you've even paced by yourself since the surgery, doc says. So..history...I have 3rd degree sustained heart block up to 15 seconds several times a day from the holster monitor I just took off last week after wearing that for a month.. anyway, so he comes back in 30 min later looks like a school kid all wide eyed and mischievious...how do you feel? I said...uh...fine, why? Hands me a strip...

Having been hospitalized AGAIN because doctors don't look at meds and side effects, I've experienced some doctors, and others, pushing way too hard on the incision when using stethoscopes. Others are as gentle as can be. Prior to my hospitalization the incision was tender but not sore. Now I plan to call the gal who monitors my PC to see if this is something I should be worried about. What is it with doctors? Don't they GET it? Aside from my having to tell them to NOT press so hard or do it...

I experienced some "strong feeling" heart beats while biking up a steep hill in mid May. Heart block occurred during a stress test with 2:1 conduction. I wore and event monitor , but the reading were squiggly and nothing could be determined from that study. Next I had an EP study where my atrium was paced at "physiological rates", and they determined I had Mobitz II HB and put in a dual chamber PM during the study so I didn't have time to prepare. Now, 5 months later, I don't have this block...

I just got my pm implanted 12 days ago. I am still getting used to it. The last 3 nights I have been brought out if sleep by a strange feeling in my chest, like someone is tapping me with their finger just below my collarbone. Has anyone else has this happen?

I was out shopping today when I saw my doctor collapse holding his chest.
"Please, help me!" he pleaded.
So I phoned the surgery and the receptionist told me someone will get back to me within 48 hours.
