That's what it is.
The pastor of this Baptist church had called all of the little children to the front of the church, dressed in their cute Easter outfits and had them sit around him.
He said, "Today is Easter and you all look so handsome and beautiful. Today we're going to talk about the resurrection. Does anyone know what the resurrection is?"
One little boy raised his hand, and the pastor said, "Please tell us what the resurrection is".
The boy, p...

I know it seems like this is stretching it a bit, but I thought I would throw it out to you experts. All my life I have practiced for myself and told others, "When a Bee or two fly around you, just ignore them and they will go away" It has always worked.
Yesterday a Bee really insisted on bugging me. For several minutes he would be in my face, or up against my shirt, just being a big problem. I walked away several times, but whenever I returned he would continue to buz...

Hello everyone...
I’m actually doing good putting aside a development.
These are my thoughts: about 3 months after my 2 wire pacemaker I started having shooting pains in my toes and fingers, and now numbness. It improves with walking or riding a bike, but after rest or sitting it returns and is getting worse. I am thinking I am not getting enough blood to my limbs. I am waiting for a cat scan; they’re looking fo...

This Friday is implant day for this new member. Looks like the left side is one of choice for a right dominant. What can I expect regarding a cell phone? What are the issues and solutions. Aaron in Oregon

It has been almost two years since my pm surgery, and even though I know this MRSA staph infection is not related, I want to know if anyone else has had this type of infection. If so, did you have any complications from the infection that caused problems with your pm, your heart, etc.? I am currently out of the hospital and on daily IV antibiotics. I am hopeful that it will be over soon, but also want to air on the side of caution. Thanks, all.

Ok, so I am counting...8 weeks today since my first PM was put in..it’s been quite a ride, bumpy at first with some holes thrown in, but the ride has turned quite smooth the past 2 weeks and for that I am eternally grateful. I am also grateful for all the advice and insight I have received here from everyone who put in their 2 cents. Thank You!
I celebrated this morning by going to my rec center, getting 30 mins on the elliptical, which isn’t where I used to be,...

Hi everyone :-)
I had my PM fitted mid May. I've been feeling some flutters recently and especially more so today. Not for extended periods of time, maybe only a second or two at a time. Today it's already been about 6 times. I've only ever felt them before during a tech session where they forced the pacemaker to pace 100%.
Am I just feeling the pacemaker work (maybe it's usually working at night??) Or should I be concerned?
I have an appointment tomorro...

We are having the calm before the storm now. As of 4am local time, they had moved to were Isaac will make land fall. I had a feeling this was going to happen. So, yesterday, I had the kids drag out the genset and ran/tested it, just in case.
I wasn't up to do anything yesterday. Was feeling real bad. Maybe still adjusting back to the dobutamine again. My home bound nurse did come to check me out and to make sure that I had all meds if the storm came our way. One good thing is that as...

Hi all,
I have a pacemaker due to heart block caused by a combination of TGA, VSD and pulmonary stenosis, and the surgeries I've had to repair these. I got my pacemaker in August 2009. In the last 6 months or so I've been getting a weird feeling in my throat, just near the top of the breast-bone but more towards the left, where my pacemaker is. It feels like something is pressing on my throat, like you might feel if you're wearing a tight jumper and sometimes it feels like my throat m...

I have had my defib. for almost two years. It went off twice in one night. Extensive test, one week in hospital. It went off again last night, and as told called the doctor this morning.
My question, do others live with this, how do you go through every day knowing it could happen at any time. I'm on transplant list, and this is no joy to me either, what do you do when this happen often. So shocked by this situation I really don't know what questions to ask. Please any advice could help.

Hi all, this is my very first msg and of a not important frivolous nature ... Q. Is it ok for me to wear a haematite necklace? I have heard that haematite is magnetic. I had my pmaker fitted in March 2012 a week after a triple CABG and my chest is still too uncomfortable to wear any necklaces but one day I hope to feel well enough to deck myself out in finery!!

Hi all
I have been suffering bradycardia for over 12 months usual only lasting a few hrs at a time. But last week it lastfor 8 days sitting on 40bpm it wasn't good, spent alot of time asleep. Had a holter monitor put on and it showed I sat between 37 and 49. Cardiologist said I need a pacemaker but not yet. It may
make it worst. But I can't function with a pulse of 40m. He wants to see me in 12 months and do a repeat holter monitor. What do u think? I think I need it now? Give me your...
