My 8 Week Mark!

Ok, so I am counting...8 weeks today since my first PM was put in..it’s been quite a ride, bumpy at first with some holes thrown in, but the ride has turned quite smooth the past 2 weeks and for that I am eternally grateful.  I am also grateful for all the advice and insight I have received here from everyone who put in their 2 cents. Thank You!

I celebrated this morning by going to my rec center, getting 30 mins on the elliptical, which isn’t where I used to be, but I’m working on it, going 2 3/4 miles in distance and doing my ab exercises as well.  I had quite the sweaty thing going on, which is what I want and need.  Have been feeling pretty much like I used to lately and hope and pray that this is what I will live with.

I am so thankful for the medical advances that were and are available to me and for getting the treatment which I needed to keep going.  With all the celebrating I’m doing I am a bit sad as my husband and I moved our youngest daughter back to College yesterday, so now it’s a lot quieter around here (she’s a wild one!)

I hope to be able to continue down this smooth road I’m on and for others to join me.  Just wanted to be a Postitive Polly today...thought a Monday was a great day to do it, especially since it’s my 8 week mark and maybe those down south could use some good news with the storm coming...hope all are well, Happy Monday!

Daughters!

So happy that all is going well for you and you are able to exercise now.
Some years ago we took our daughter to study in Melbourne. ( I am an Aussie and live in Adelaide ) When we came home I bawled my eyes out as she was the last child to leave home. I have 4 boys and 1 girl. She never came home, but married there and now has 3 children, but we visit often. I only had empty nest syndrome for a little while as there has been much to do in life. I do understand how you feel!
All the best

Hi! So happy you are doing so well. Hard to have our children start to fly, but college will help them in their flight, so try to SMILE! Hopeful Heart

Sounds like it all is going well. 8 weeks is plenty for the leads to heal.

I wouldn't even think of mine except for getting on the site here in the evening.
