Hello everyone...
I’m actually doing good putting aside a development.
These are my thoughts: about 3 months after my 2 wire pacemaker I started having shooting pains in my toes and fingers, and now numbness. It improves with walking or riding a bike, but after rest or sitting it returns and is getting worse. I am thinking I am not getting enough blood to my limbs. I am waiting for a cat scan; they’re looking for pinched nerves?
I am confused and just have a gut feeling about my pacemaker. When I was in Afib I had a good ejection fraction. I’m still on Warfarin because of the 2 wire doesn’t care about the left side of the heart? My Cardio Dr has moved and I’m starting over with a new Dr that I haven’t met yet. Can anyone give me a good reason if a 2 wire or a 3 wire would have given me a full heart rate and rhythm???

I love this new part of me, and very, very thankful that this technology exists and I know that it's all only going to get better over time.
2 wire versus 3 wire

I've read that when someone has a 3 lead (wire) pacemaker it's to synchronize the left and right ventricles.
Hopefully one or two of our members who already have this can comment more on this situation.
When you do eventually meet your new doctor - don't leave his office until you fully understand. Perhaps you could write your questions down and take them with you, that's what I do:)
Take care and keep us posted.
