I had a Boston Scientific pacemaker inserted 23 June. No problems until yesterday, 29 August. I have a tingling sensation almost like a twitching although I can not see any movement. It is in my left arm. Friday I had a PICC line put in my right arm and it was done under radiology. Hope it did not do anything to damage the pacemaker. Thank you for any feedback, just concerned.

I had an RV PM installed last February when my EF had declined from 57 to 40, over a year's time. Six months later my EF declined to 30. I was referred to a Heart Failure Specialist who put me on Losartan 25mg. (Six months ago I was put on Lisinopril 50mg but had to DC it because my BP dropped to 80/50). I am tolerating the ARB OK which is good because the doctor says the insurance insists on a medication trial before replacing my RV PM with an ICD, which won't be until Thanksgiving. He said my...

I'm a 64 year old male. I have an AV block with a dual lead PM. Was diagnosed with low ejection fraction and was told I might need a third lead. Does that make sense?

I had a dual chamber pacemaker placed in RA. And RV on August 20th for complete heart lock. I am 100% paced . But. This morning I woke with a headache , took my B/P and it is dangerously high. I belong to Kaiser permanente . I saw on the post that this not unusual. I have had normal B/P prior the implant and hope will not need pills for life . Since this Sunday will wait till tomorrow when the pacemaker clinic opens. Or do you feel I need to go to the Er.

I had my pacemaker put in May 2015. Since then one area is VERY sensitive to touch. It even hurts just to rest my finger on it with no pressure.
I have told my Dr. several times and he is not taking me seriously. The last visit he told me to "suck it up"
I haven't had many surgeries and I have a pretty high pain tolerance but I know something isn't right.
Any ides would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Judy

I had a pacemaker installed a year ago. I was diagnosis with low heart rate. While at hospital my heart stopped for 2 minutes while asleep. My on going issue has been that my pacemaker is activating at different times during and after exercise. It is only supposed to come on at 45 bpm during the day and 40 at night. I should mention while I am 55 I also am very fit and have always had a resting heart rate in the low 50'S. I seems the doctors dont have a way a only controling my resting heart rat...

My injection fraction was 26 12 months ago. I had my crt-d installed on May 26.
I am 65. I work 5 days a week at my wholesale bakery. I feel good. I play tennis 3 or 4 times a week with strong 20-35 year old players and people are shocked when I tell them of my pacemaker.
I just had another echo this past Monday. I got a call from my cardiologist yesterday. She told me my injection fraction had gotten worst. It is now 21.
She said she was going to call my Electrophysioligist to d...

hi all. I just got my pacemaker six days ago for a heart block. I work at home in front of a computer so I have gone back to work yesterday. But I can say one thing I noticed is my heart rate is running now in the 80's to upper 90's. I am feeling this with feeling dizzy and just fatigue. My rate is set at 60 and is single lead. My heart issue has always been SVT and have had an ablation a few years ago. I guess my question is if these symptoms are normal while your heart is adjusting to t...

I had a PM implanted in late December, 2014. In May, 2015 I experienced my first ever bout with AFib. Now I have had two more bouts in July. It seems to start at night when I roll over on my left side. I have felt something like a shock from the PM and the data on the PM shows that is exactly when I went into AFib. It seems to me that the PM is causing the AFib. My doctor says there is no correlation between the PM and the AFib, but I feel the "coincidence" is much too strong to ignore. H...

Hello Again Everybody!
Just have a few questions and concerns! Had extreme pain in the right arm from my fingers up into my neck, jaw, and ear/head. Could not use the arm due to pain and weakness, the only explanation is some type of vascular seizures, however, with the anti-seizure meds the pain in my chest that had come back is gone. Has anyone else experienced this? My pm was put in in May of this year along with a stent. It hurt so bad it took my breathe away!

This is my fourth time going into atrial flutter! I've had 3 cardioversions and it has not been working so instead I'm going to have a catheter ablation in order to try get rid of the flutter! I can definitely feel the diffrence from not having the flutter and having it. Compared to before I had more energy and more awake. Now being in Atrial flutter it feels as if I've been more tired. I'm not sure if thats a side effect of having atrial flutter ,but something is making me really tired lately.<...

Has anyone had complications with this device. It has been almost several months and I am having breathing issues as well as fatigue. I do have COPD but since the having the device installed my breathing condition has gotten progressively worse. Before the getting the device I was golfing without oxygen and now I am on it constantly. I have had two device adjustments and my cardiologist has told me that there is nothing else they can do.

My daughter is 14 and received her first pacemaker for complete heart block at 13 years old. (2 years ago). Her pacemaker is currently set at 50bpm and it shows that her Vpacing is 100%. she has been experiencing "episodes" where the left side of her body will go numb, then a severe headache, passing out, chest pain, tremors, etc. whenever she is really hot or exercising. Has anyone experienced this before? One dr said it is because her heart rate is staying so low even during exercise and refer...

I've had sleep problems since my first pacemaker about 9 years ago. Since then I've had to take various meds for sleep and also started testosterone therapy.
About 2 months ago, I started having high BP in the evening and continuing through mid-morning, but it was very inconsistent. My EP said my sinus node is regenerating.
About 2 weeks ago, I just stopped sleeping - regardless of sleep meds. What's really odd though is that now, shortly after I go home and start relaxing...

It's been nearly 8 months since my tricuspid valve was repaired (11/20/14)........so far, I've done pretty good but it's been a bit bumpy. Had an atrial ablation in January of this year for aflutter and eventually had to get a dual chamber pacemaker in April (coronary sinus lead to stimulate left ventricle in lieu of lead thru repaired tricuspid valve). I had an echocardiogram done last week and now my left ventricle ejection fraction (LVEF) is down about 10-15 points from a couple of echos wi...
