I had a dual chamber pacemaker placed in RA. And RV on August 20th for complete heart lock. I am 100% paced . But. This morning I woke with a headache , took my B/P and it is dangerously high. I belong to Kaiser permanente . I saw on the post that this not unusual. I have had normal B/P prior the implant and hope will not need pills for life . Since this Sunday will wait till tomorrow when the pacemaker clinic opens. Or do you feel I need to go to the Er.

Dangerously high = do not wait, go be seen now. Do you want to risk a stroke? Pacing has little to do with blood pressure. It just makes the heart beat faster.

I think that if it is sudden onset of dangerously high blood pressure, then you should go to ER. When in doubt, err on the side of conservatism.
