My injection fraction was 26 12 months ago. I had my crt-d installed on May 26.
I am 65. I work 5 days a week at my wholesale bakery. I feel good. I play tennis 3 or 4 times a week with strong 20-35 year old players and people are shocked when I tell them of my pacemaker.
I just had another echo this past Monday. I got a call from my cardiologist yesterday. She told me my injection fraction had gotten worst. It is now 21.
She said she was going to call my Electrophysioligist to do an optimization in the cath lab .
It came as a shock, but I am dealing with it.
Has anyone else experienced this?
