Pacemaker moving around

Hi guys,

I am 28 and had my pacemaker inserted 8/8/16. I'm not sure if it has always been moving around or if I'm just now noticing...but when I lay on my right side, the pacemaker bulges and I can actually feel the edges at the top of my left breast. When I switch to the other side, it bulges there as well. It feels slightly bruised and painful when I touch it--nothing major.

I am a 35 y/o female born with congential 3rd degree heart block AV dissociation, because my mom had lupus. I was also born with neonatal lupus. I am a mother of 2 children 3 y/o boy and 1 y/o girl. Extraction of pacemaker and leads

Hi I said I would come back after operation . Had open on Thursday 22nd it was a prolonged and difficult open (doctors words) under for five hours but I am here and finally at home. I am on blood thinners for two months as usual have dvt in arm. I am taking rivaroxaban 15mg twice a day for three weeks and then it reduces. Afib/flutter medications led to Pm implant

Pm placed 6/2016.  Dr Dr dx based on ZIO monitor worn for 48hrs. Results -asystole-cardiac pauses 4, 6 and 8 seconds. Dr called me at home and stated PM needed to be inserted soon. Side effects of my paroxysmal fib meds can cause asystole and other toxic effects.  Discontinuing med was not an option?   Hospital stay difficult, chest pain at 0300. Dr on call ordered percocet. Adjusting to the Pacemaker

Hard to catch a breath.

Hi,

I'm a 31 year old woman who had a Metotronic dual chamber pacer put in for Bacardia and 2nd and 3rd degree heart block. I had it put in July 21st of this year. They've adjusted my pacer three times already. I'm so tired all the time and I feel like I can never catch a breath. I was told I would feel better after this and I don't. Family support regarding pacemakers and up coming surgery

Hi,

I am new to this so please bear with me. I am dating a lady that has a pacemaker and is soon to have surgery to remove the device from the left hand side of her chest to the right.  I have been trying to find a platform to get the view of other people close to someone with a pacemaker as struggling at times to manage thoughts, feelings and emotions around the upcoming surgery. Irregular Pulse

Dear Friends, It seems like I just get an answer about my Pacemaker and something new Comes Up! I was working really Hard today, when I felt weak and kind of wierd! Perforation of Lead

Hi There,

I joined this forum to help my friend, neighbor ....my fishing buddy....to learn about his proceedure.

4 weeks ago he got a pacemaker. Was supposed to be kept overnight the take a few weeks or so to recover. Well, the perforated his heart inserting the lower lead causing blood to build up.

They were going to "go in" to repair but waited to see if bleeding would stop and the blood disapate spending a week in the hospital. They then said he could go home.

buzzing sound

I have a buzzing sound coming from pacemaker. I've had it interogated last week and was told it was doing exactly what it was supposed to do.pacemaker ok and all 3 leads ok on both ends.My wife says she's also heard it. This is 3rd pacemaker put in . 1st had a recall and 2nd battery life ran out and now this is 3rd one. Advice please

 I've had many  complications with my pacemaker and wires mainly with my veins.

My pm is fitted because i had a sinus arrest of 29 seconds 5 years ago aged 30.

I had my dual lead pacemaker fitted in April 2016 as an emergency, after blacking out whilst driving, and 'flat-lining' five times. A-Fib with pacemaker

My son is 18 and has had a PM since he was 15 months old since July the top part of his heart has went into A-Fib but they said the bottom part of his heart looks great. Just wondering if anyone has has this happen?  I heard they could put him on meds. , could be fixed through his pacemaker, but I'm worried he's my boy my whole world. We meet with the Electro. Excruciating pain breathing

SHARP STABBING PAINS IN CHEST AFTER IMPLANT

I had a Dual lead Boston Scientific PM implanted 7/19/16 in preparation for a future AV Node ablation to fix my proximal SVTS and AFib. Base rate was set to 50 since my previous resting rate was 55 to 57. Overnight observation went well and BS tech said PM and leads test good but data showed I was paced 40% of the time.
