Hi I said I would come back after operation . Had open on Thursday 22nd it was a prolonged and difficult open (doctors words) under for five hours but I am here and finally at home. I am on blood thinners for two months as usual have dvt in arm. I am taking rivaroxaban 15mg twice a day for three weeks and then it reduces. It is giving me a headache and slight lightheaded feeling, would be interested if anyone else taken these. I would like to say though through my replies on this club I went into hospital quite focused and positive and thank those who answered me.

I'm sure your focused and positive attitude going in to surgery was very helpful! Keep that same attitude through your recovery. Saying a prayer for your complete recovery and better days ahead!! Wishing you all the best!!

Can i ask if you had swelling to your left arm after your Lead extraction surgery.
I had a lead extraction in Oct 2016 and my left arm is still swollen.
Three leads were removed..two were connected and just sitting there.
Then two were replaced.
The wound is still very tender but im guessing that part of my recovery.
Shall i be concerned about the pressure and swelling in my arm 3 months on.
Regards Linda
