Weird sensations in device area last few days

Hi. First time posting, thanks for letting me be a member of the group. I have a Medtronic ICD for nonsustained polymorphic VT and electrical storm in the setting of stress. Stable, taking flecainide and nadolol daily. Recent checkups and stress tests have been A-OK, and I have mostly forgotten the ICD is there. First EP Clinic Appointment

Hello Everyone,

My pacemaker was implanted at the end of June following a 12-second pause.  I have my first EP Clinic appointment tomorrow (following the initial appointment a week after implantaton) and I plan to ask about my settings.  In a past post, Gemita offered some terrific questions to pose and those are on the top of my list.

Syncope Neurocardiogenic with Neuropathy

Hi,

 

I have my Biotronic Edora 8 DR-T for almost 2 years now, due to SSS using it a 100%.

After a tilt test they found that I also have Syncope NeuroCardiogenic, which causes blackouts if I stay to long on my feet. Walking is/was fine

2 weeks ago I collapsed having a Syncope and ended up catching a ride to the ER booking a bed for 1 week for observation.

Of course the PM was working fine, but something is there that they can't find.

CRT-D

Palpitations & unwell

Dear all, I want to share my current situation as I would appreciate your comments. I am 24 days post op a CRT-D and things were going well for a couple of weeks as I put in a previous post. Then I started suffering from high heart rates of 85-90 with palpitations which made me feel unwell. Hi. Just got a pacer on Sunday night.  Had no clue I had any issues with my heart. No conduction issues I was aware of.  Was bradycardic Saturday evening, didn't feel well so went to the er .  Progressed to a third degree block by Sunday evening. Had surgery at 930 pm with a half hour notice. Antidepressants and QT prolongation

Hi everyone, 

Still a newbie. Got my PM on July 18 of this year.

Went for a check up yesterday and my cardiologist said that my pacemaker is pacing way more than he expected. I'm supposed to be at less than 10%. I have tachy brady syndrome. And he's very concerned because my QT prolongation is worse.

Pacemaker since 3/2021

I've had my pacemaker since 3/2021. It was sudden, my husband noticed one night out of the blue that my speech was off, I wasn't making sense. He quickly dialed 911. The paramedics came and found my heart rate to be plummeting to 27. covid 19 vaccine

I have a Metronic pacemaker since 2019.  I had the covid 19 vaccine yesterday  Oct 4,2023, called Spikevax by Moderna US, inc.   Had it at my local gocery stores pharmacy.  The pharmacy tech ask which arm , I said i have a pacemaker.  She then said the right one.  Felt a tiny pinch an she said all done.

Hi, I am on a waiting list for a biventricular pacemaker and have opted to have the ICD as I was given that choice. Hopefully this will be done before Xmas.
