Flying

I have had my pacemaker for a year and a half. I was wondering is safe for me to fly. I know that there are certain precautions I have to take. Still a little nervous about flying.

You don't need to take any precautions! I fly all the time. I do not say anything at security, just walk on through. Newer pacers are well shielded and the metal detectors do not affect them. And the alloy they are made with does not set off the detectors.

Stay hydrated is my best advice. And have a great trip!
