Arrhythmia Ablation vs bradycardia pacemaker

I have several arrhythmias. My doctor has suggested ablation surgery. He said that I will most likely need a pacemaker for my bradycardia.
Is it possible for pacemaker surgery to increase the heart rate enough to fix some of the arrhythmia? The reason why I ask is that when I go to the mountains in higher elevation my arrhythmia's decrease because my heart rate increases. When I come back down, I get slammed again and my HR drops.
Has anyone gotten a pacemaker and...

I had a Biotronic pacemaker inserted on June 22, 2019. I needed a second lead. This is my 3rd pacemaker since initial insertion in October/2009. The first one had an abscess in behind the pacemaker. That pacemaker was removed in Dec/2009 and a new one was installed in the right side of my chest. In August/2017 I had a battery change. My shoulder was sore in January and after an ultrasound, showed there was inflammation. My doctor recommended a cortisone needle in the shoulder. I got the shot t...

Not sure if I am a CRT non-responder. 3 months echo EF 40% as against 35% before CRT. During 3 month doctor visit in August they did interrogation, which I thought was not due till the following month. They immediately did limited echo.
Looking at interrogation, A-Fib several, but one VT/VF brief non sustained. This may be what prompted Eliquis immediately and Amiodarone orally.
Am I finding out that I am a non-responder to CRT?

I had my Pace Maker put in end of February this year, I work in the semiconductor world for the last 40 years. Recently had to be placed in another group due to the process has a vary large magnetic field equipment running. No big deal there, always somewhere to go in this industry. My question is for the welders out there, I was in the process of buying a tig welder when I needed to have this PM put in. Question is for distance from the power box. I bought this unit about 10 years ago, Mille...

My cards doc says I tingle from the placement of the pacemaker over a nerve enriched part of the chest. I had new devices implanted into the pec muscle as the first would ride up and hit the clavicle. But I tingle constantly from head to toe. Does anyone else have this problem?

My mom is 85 years old and just got a PM on August 8, 2019. She wore a monitor for 30 days and it caught several episodes of her heart pausing. She had a CABG about 18 years ago. She is in decent shape for her age, but ever since getting her PM her condition has gone downhill.
Her first checkup was 1 week after the surgery and they said everything was healing well. She felt weak but we both thought that was due to the surgery.
On Aug 26th I took her t...

Hi everyone!
My name is Emily, and I've had a pacemaker for around 5 years now. I'm currently a college senior studying biomedical engineering, and for my senior design class, we have been challenged to create a novel biomedical prototype that addresses an unmet health need.
As pacemakers have held a significant impact on my life, I wanted to look into improving the artificial pacemaker, and I was curious on what everyone else's experiences have been like and...

I am having issues with gas around my chest/heart area everyday. No matter what I eat or drink i always get really bad gas near my heart. The only relief I get from this is when i burp. It feels as if it is traped gas in my chest and this is ongoing everyday. I get short of reath from this and feel as if i cant breathe What would be a recoomendation to handl this issue cause antacids didnt work and alka seltzer only gave me a temporary relief.

I had my pm implanted on January 28 due to type 3 congenital heart block. Due to haviing a heart rate of 37 at the age of 42 my cardiologist recommended that I have the surgery. Also previously in Dec. 2017 I suffered from a stroke. After making a full recovery, thank God in November 2018 I had my first seizure. I had another seizure in January 2019 therefore I elected to go through with having the surgery. I was told my my cardiologist that the surgery will increase my...

I've had a biotronik single chamber for bradycardia set to 60/50 am/pm since August 2015. Last May 20 it was changed 50bpm 24/7 without complications. In mid-June following an extremely painful and stressful dental health scare, I started to have what sound like PVCs or PACs, a heavy thump followed by what feels like a skipped beat. It was happening a few times a day, mostly a few at a time, sometimes up to about 10 in a row. But when I went for a walk a few days ago they were almost...

I had my PM on the 22nd and when I first came round as they put me out completely I have terrible nerve pain, that has finally stopped now ,
Some three weeks later I got up one morning after laying on my left side for the first time when something went crunch, off to the hospital as I was told to do for an x ray, it was then noticed that my PM and turned unpside down although the surgeon thinks the reason I had been in so much pain for 3 weeks was because my shoulder was dislocate...

Thursday, I had my 20 month old Pacemaker replaced with CRT-P. I am coming up on 48 hours with new Pacemaker and so far not enjoying it. My resting heart rate has been in high 90’s with going up to 120 with a slow walk. My PVC’s are just about constant. I do not know if this is just my heart adjusting, are the settings all wrong or should I go to Emergency. Any of you smart people out there have some experience with this?

Had a CRT-P installed for cardiomyopathy on 3/1/19 of this year. EP thinks it was due to RV pacing from my dual chamber pacemaker causing dyssyncrony between RV and LV. I have a very wide QRS > 150 ms and a native LBBB. Recent echocardiogram 5.5 months post install doesn't show any improvment; even a slight drop in EF from 39 to 36%. I also can tell I've picked up a little water weight. I've heard of late responders to this therapy (> 1 year) but also know most see pos...

I found this site last October 2018 after getting an emergency PM for sick sinus syndrome bradycardia, but this is the first time I’ve posted. I’m so frustrated and worried because I’m having severe palpitations that feel like my heart is literally moving sideways. This is followed by dizziness, near fainting, choking feeling, and/or pins and needles. Sometimes it happens over and over for hours. My greatest fear is that I may black out while driving. I h...

April 25 I had my aortic valve replaced (2nd time, first time was 2004). Because of my age, I was advised not to have TAVR, as the replacement valve would not be a good candidate for replacement in another 12 to 15 years. I therefore underwent the whole sternum-cracking surgery. Six days later, I had to have a pacemaker inserted due to heart block caused by the surgery. I have been suffering with intense sensations of stinging, biting, burning across my chest from armpit to armpit...
