Looking for Orange County Firefighters

Can anyone help me with info on Orange County firefighters with a pacemaker that are still working as a firefighter post implantation of a pacemaker. I am going to have my two chamber pacemaker implanted next week, my doctor told me I can return back to work in one month post surgery. I am a little nervious about how my city is going to react. If anyone has information on any firefighters still on the job post surgery it would be a big help to me in keeping my job.

There have been firefighters and paramedics on this forum in the past dealing with these issues. I hope one or more of them will see your post and respond to you. You didn't say which Orange County. You can do a search: upper right corner of this page, click on the search option and enter firefighters, paramedics or similar. This should return some of those postings for you. I am a firm believer that a person who needs a pacemaker will be in much better health after the PM and less of a liability. Good luck and God bless.
