Hot flushes and skin sensations after pacemaker

Hello,
My dad had a few episodes of arrythmia and had to have a pacemaker fitted in July. He has been fine since then until now. Today he has told me that he sometimes has hot flushes that last for around 20 minutes and a strange sensation on his skin all over his body that feels like something is crawling on him. Does anyone know what this could be?

Has your dad had any changes in medication recently? Besides niacin, I take several medications which if I taken at higher doses have had either one or the other of the symptoms of flushing or something crawling over my skin. Best thing I could recommend to do is look up his various medications and see which ones list that as a possible side effect and then talk to his doctors. It's hard to be an advocate. I'm sure your father appreciates your assistance.
