I have a 10 month old who loves crawling all over me. He's stepped on my pacemaker and managed to grab me just right so his finers gets a grip on it. Usually it's not an issue, but the last few days I've been sore around the pacemaker, similar to when I first got it (9 years ago, and replaced in 2012).
Is it possible it's shifted at some point during him crawling on/grabbing me?
Any other parents with young kids experience similiar things?

damage

I ended up sore from time to time when my kids were little. It's unlikely he did any more than bruise you. The scar tissue insulates them pretty well. Can you feel if it's in a different spot? Ice may help.

You can feel your fingers and toes again.

Hi Ashley.
Just last week my 14 month old grandson crawled right smack dab onto my PM. He didn't grab it but he was leaning right on it if that makes sense. I was shocked at how much it hurt and what a long, sustained aaaaahhhhhh came out of me.
I vowed to avoid getting into that position again. I think some damage could possibly occur, especially if your little one grabs hold of it again. In the meantime, maybe you should have your device interrogated since it's still hurting just to be sure it's ok. What does your gut tell you?
