Home with #5

Got my shiny new St Judes 2240! Checked in at 6am, was headed home by 11am. Inhaled some lunch, took a nap, did a quick client project that came in this morning. Haven't had more than a tylenol so far, tho the local hasn't worn off yet so I may change my tune later.

I would like to add my good wishes to those sent by Tattoo Man.

The fact that you take PM replacements in your stride, and are not particularly traumatised by the procedure must be encouraging to so many people on here.

Ian

That sounds great!

I happy extremely happy for you. It is almost a feeling of extreme elation to put that behind you! Just think..........you won't have to even think about that procedure again for so darn many years that it doesn't even matter anymore!!!

Great News Tracey

by donb - 2016-02-05 03:02:33

Hi Tracey! It's good news to get that many years of pacing with
4 pacemakers. That's a good record for you're being so active. I'm 3 years this summer on my #6. Just received my message I'm due for my next change in 1&1/2 years which compares with my original implant. This will be my 2nd pacemaker to have it be changed for battery EOL as all my others had to be changed because of site failure, erosian & infections except my initial implant in 1992.

Super!

My first pm is a St Jude 2240, same as yours. Thanks for all you do for others on this site. You are an inspiration!
