Yep, got my call last week. I have to wait til end of January for replacement.

If my InSync goes OuttaSync, it will kill me as I am 100% paced and had the ablation in 2008.

Scarey stuff.

A lot of people have died unexpectedly, sad indeed.

So sorry to hear about recall

On behalf of all of us at risk from the recall, I thank you for your comments.

I guess anything that's manufactured can be recalled, it's a risk we take to stay alive.

It hasn't been an easy week. I understand my pov (fix it now!) and the fact that the EP doctor has to rush around making arrangements to get them replaced as soon as possible.

I'm sure they'll do their best, just hope I get it in time.

My eight year old son had a pacemaker since he was 6 months old. He does very well, plays soccer, baseball, and rides his bike. I am so glad he is not ashamed of his pacemaker. He will proudly show his "battery" to anyone.
