I see you're still having trouble posting. Try clearing your cache and deleting temp files. If you have another browser on your computer, try that too.

I know you're part of senior management ....being a moderator and all that .... so what exactly has been the problem with spam codes . Has it been a virus or what ?

Are Bill Gates "Windows" computer systems affected in the same way as Apple ??

I don't know what " clearing your cache " means , maybe Tattoo Man, who is far more educated than myself, will understand ( but I wouldn't bet on it ! )

Seriously though , it seems that loads of people have been unable to send messages to the PM club and some still cannot do so. What exactly has been going on ? Will it happen again and what can we do to avoid it in future ?

My spam codes miraculously righted themselves after being "frozen" for over a week and to whoever solved the problem.. "Thank You " but why are some people still frozen out .... was it something Tattoo Man said ?

Cheers

Ian

upgrades

The spam codes got mangled when some security upgrades were installed. My understanding is it was fixed last week and its been working fine for me since.

Clearing temp files is done through Windows or the browser. To clear cache, depends what browser it is but look under options or tools. Get rid of temporary, cached, and cookies.

..................................yup...he is back !! My Toxic JSWGO spam code seems to have been exorcised thus allowing me to become PMC Cyber Pest once more.

IAN MC flatters me, and has done for the decades that we have been inseparable friends...one day we might even meet.......

I was beginning to think that I had been put on the 'Naughty Step', or that someone had found out that Mrs TM used to teach in the Grammar School where Margaret Thatcher went and that I was to be punished by being taken to the PM Club Village Green and put in the stocks that is JSWGO.

Congrats to Sue UK on her 2nd PM anniversary.

Thanks to the PMC people, who have doubtless had a few head scratching moments of late.

Best wishes to all.

PS IAN, I shall raise a glass or two to you and PMC down at the Five Bells this evening for Early Doors...Mrs TM won £20 last week on the Grand National sweep.

Free beer...........as Ian Dury and the Blockheads sang..."Reasons to be cheerfull"

Welcome Back Tattoo Man

We all thought that you had run off with Electric Frank !

I am so pleased that you and Mrs TM backed the winning horse in the Grand National . I had my annual wager on a horse called " Rare Bob" which limped in in 5th place so I am now £5 poorer than I was ! But I am so happy for you both ..... as a runner, you will appreciate that winning is not everything, it's taking part that counts .

I think I picked the only horse in the field that needed a PM. I should have realised that all was not well when I saw that it was wired up with a Holter monitor !

If Sue UK is reading this , I will join you in wishing her well on her 2nd anniversary. I feel another party coming on !

Cheers

Ian ( mine is a pint by the way )

You know you're wired when...

You have the perfect reason to show off your chest.
