I am thankful for
- Sandy is gone and didn’t do much damage. Prayers she fizzles rather than wreaking havoc to our friends up north

- my Girl Scouts, having an awards ceremony today and am so proud of my girls and what they’ve accomplished

- the coaches at my gym. They continue to push me to do things I never thought I’d be able to do

1. My lovely generator. Earned its keep last year, with two outages, one 6 days, one 9 days. Here's hoping we won't need it, but if so, it's there, ready to go.
2. My better half, who is keeping me calm and sane during all this!
3. That we remembered to stock up with a couple of extra bottles of wine! Essential emergency supplies.

- My beautiful, healthy 4 children. and being blessed to be able to have them.

- for a wonderful sight like this where people can come and feel better.

- the amazing husband I have that continues to support me and show me what unconditional love is everyday.

-Being able to say I have celebrated 25 years of marriage to my husband Jay

-Having a wonderful family that I truly love and cherish

-Being a mom to 2 of the most beautiful,talented,smart,compasionate young women I've ever seen(ok,slightly biased on that!)

I'm grateful that I can still learn things! I'm grateful that I have a daughter that is prepared for "sandy" the storm, as much as anyone can be anyway. I'm grateful that I have a God with whom I can ask to watch over her and protect her.
I'm grateful for my husband and family and friends.

I'm glad my mother was safe down in Boynton Beach Florida too!

I am greatful for the fact that we are FINALLY getting our long awaited summer in New Zealand. the weather is very temperamental over here.

2. girl scouts (guides in NZ) love the awards ceremonies I was a leader & I miss them a lot. & am thankful for the five years I was a leader

the fact that in 45 days my daughter & I are going on a 12 day south pacific cruise. no cooking or cleaning over christmas. Hopefully there is no terrible weather

my great EP & his loads of experience & that he did an excellent AV node ablation & puts in a quick PM (does it between beats). Also great staff at AK. Heart Institute.

My great PM's (now #3) & for an old gal I feel great.
