Cancel My Trip

This morning I get about 50 miles down the road and got text msgl from the folks I was going to visit. During the night one of them developed the Norovrius stomach flu. So turned around and came home.

I went through it about a week ago and should be immune, but we were looking forward to having fun together.

Well better safe than sorry!!

You don't want another episode again, I live on the East coast and there are a few strains of viruses running rampant over here too.

The local hospital that I'm close to advised visitors not to come by for visiting hours for the time being.

I'm petrified of the Norovius, because that is what landed me in the hospital last year, and I ended up walking out with a pacemaker.

Yesterday I stopped by the local drugstore to pick up a few things and the line at the pharmacy counter extended clear down the isle. I did't get close enough to ask whether they had the flu or norovirus.
