Pookie here.
I've been a member here since late 2005 and until several months ago was a VERY active member; almost every day. With that being said, I am going to try and make more regular appearances.
Sometimes life throws us curve balls and we get off track...well, I miss all of my friends from here, so be warned ----- I'm back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sometimes in life the ones who are always strong need a break/rest and support too. A lot has happened to me lately and I know I fell into a deep depression, but regardless, it's time to dig myself out and get back to supporting the members on this site.
I'm one of the Moderators/Monitors - so if you need any help or have any questions, please feel free to private message me.
Smiling,
Pookie

Hi Pooks
Just posted you a message. Remember you can be just as depressed as laying in bed as doing the dishes. Just a saying from the Mental Health Group I used to belong
Hope that big black cloud is going away. We all support you and have missed you. I feel for you having myself suffered from deep, deep depression which I have been battling against now for some months due to the way I was treated earlier this year. When I am erxtremely tired it all bubbles up and I know I have to listen to my body to avoid the "downers".
We have all missed you, and, welcome back with hugs and love.
Billie

Annoying advice

Believe me you don't get to be 54 with out some major horrors trying to drag you down. The only thing that kept me going was "breath in breathe out , put one foot in front of the other ...and then do it again (if you can get yourself out of bed that is... lol)
I think that is why this PM has been so hard on me - when we tense up breathing rhythms change and become more shallow and this effects every aspect of your being. Having a PM and being in constant pain and discomfort to some degree has interfered with my breathing. Hhmmmmm thanks Pookie for this aha moment. I'm going back to my regular deeep breathing regime.
We love having you here so.. don't fight the Black Dog - march past him and breathe.
lots of love and good karma
Shirley
