I joined this club for my mom who has a defibrillator and travels alot, she is scheduled to go to Las Vegas in April and UK in September. She has gotten the ok from the doctors to travel but needs to acquire travel insurance.Her defibrilator went off when she was in the US in November and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. She just received a bill for 800.00 for the ride. She has gotten the ok from the doctors but Anyone from canada have any leeds or companies that we can call ...

I agree with Jessie, Royal Bank travel insurance is excellent. I don't know what province you are in alicat but in Manitoba if we submit the bill to Manitoba Medical they will reimburse us for the amount that they would have covered here. Here it would be $275.00 for the ambulance. That's not much but it's better than nothing. Give your provincial medical office a call and inquire.

royal bank trael insurance is excellent. it is pricey but one is covered especially in the u.s. hope this helps jessie
