Catching My Breath

I am in my 6th year with my current pacemaker. This was my 3rd implant so I am facing my 4th soon. My last check up was over the phone yesterday and I questioned the fact that in the past week I have been having to "catch my breath" as I feel fluttering in my upper chest. Thursday I am going to have my upper lead fully checked as the nurse thought maybe this lead was acting up. I only pace 25% of the time in the upper lead where my lower is 100% pacing.

Anyone else out there have this fluttering and feel the need to catch your breath or take a deep sigh? If so, have you figured out why?

Thanks -
Tracie

I too have that feeling where I have to take a deep sigh. I mentioned it to my dr and it must mean something because he flipped back to where he was taking notes and wrote it down, but of course he didnt explain anything. Mine has been happening about 6 months now, I have had my pm for around 5 years.
