why did you have to get a pace maker

my questions is this. according to the doctors my heart is in athletic shape, physically i am in better shape than 20 years ago.
i am 44 male always athletic. when i ask the cardiologist she thinks the heart problem is a symptom of something else. my heart rate will just drop to nothing all the while it is irregular pattern. i feel it has something to do with my bowel movements (sorry) but i still not sure what the trigger is and why. does anyone else have the reason why they have a pacemaker. ive had the pacemaker since jan 17. and i can tell when it starts cause in my chest it begins to feel like i am having a cough being interupted, then about 10 minutes later im in the bathroom number 2.
i apologize for being maybe over graphic but i think if i can cure the trigger i can stop having the pacemaker go on.
thank you all.
and this forum is a blessing.

similar pattern

I am 43 and had a pacemaker implanted 2 years ago.
I was in the best shape of my life when I started having bradychardia. I also noticed a similar pattern where my pulse would go down before I had to use the bathroom.
I brought it up to my doctors and they brushed it aside...no one felt there was any connection. I can say that I have felt 10,000 times better now that I make sure I have enough fiber everyday. I eat lots of fresh vegetables. Fruit alone didn't do anything for me. I don't know if this will help you but it has changed my life. Implanting the pacemaker didn't really make me feel much better but changing my eating habits has made a huge difference. Try cutting up carrots, celery and broccoli and eating it as a snack throughout the day.
I bet this sounds crazy....:-)
Good luck.

low blood pressure

I have read that people with low blood pressure can have even lower blood pressure when they have a #2. Look into Neurocardiogenic Syncope, which also has 5 other names, like CathrynB suggested.

There is an answer....problem is: you just have to find it.

I would also research the Vagus Nerve.

Pookie.

You know you're wired when...

You name your daughter “Synchronicity”.
