Mineral Deficencies
by Roys - 2014-07-05 06:07:39
It's not only Magnesium you can be deficient in, Potassium plays a vital role in the nervous system by insuring that muscles contract properly. For the heart to produce a heartbeat, Potassium must be present. Both high and low levels of potassium can cause irregular heart rhythms. Unfortunately a great number of physicians are not well versed in recommending or supervising nutritional support.

Yes I do. I don't know why, and doctors do not know either. However I discover if I can take with a lot of meal, let say at lunch, works better.

Calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium are all needed in fairly large amounts (compared say, to copper) for the electrical signals to transmit properly and for the muscles to respond. And your heart, as you know, is a muscle.
Not eating enough vegetables can leave you deficient in potassium--as can some drugs. Most Americans get too much sodium, but too little can make you feel terrible.
Like Roy, I wouldn't suspect the magnesium.
