Pains in my heart

I have had my pacemaker for 7 years. It is scheduled to be replaced within the next 6 months. I have had no problems what so ever up until now. In fact I forget that I even have one most of the time. My life hasn’t changed at all. I work out, I do aerobics etc. For the last few months I get little sharp shooting pains in my heart a few times a day. I have no idea what is causing them. I have to admit that I do drink 2 cups of regular coffee first thing in the am. I have been doing this seemingly without any negative reaction since I had my pacemaker. I am wondering if the caffine could be affecting my heart. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice?

As for my pacemaker (almost 7 years old) I like to think of it in the terms of the old Timex commercial - takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
