Hello everyone! I haven't been on in forever and last time I posted I was dealing with a difficult choice of ending my pregnancy due to a diagnosis a stupid cardiologist made incorrectly. I was told I have pulmonary hypertension and that I had a 50 50 chance of survival. Fortunately the doctor was wrong. I went for 2nd and 3rd opinions and the original readings were caused by my pacemaker leads causing a false positive. The first doctor should have immediately informed me and ran more test but he didn't. I was told about my condition by my obgyn and not my cardiologist. I ended up pregnant and was facing the choice of terminating my pregnancy or possibly not surviving if I chose to go through with it. Anyways I was told I didn't have the condition and would be ok to go through with my pregnancy. In the end I ended up having a miscarriage and lost our baby. But with lots of prayer we became blessed a month later with the pregnancy of my little boy! I had a terrible pregnancy and lots a tune of weight, and went into preterm labor, but on 12/31/2012 I delivered a healthy 8 lbs 3 Oz baby boy at 36 weeks :-). Thank the Lord he came early lol.
We are all doing great and are happy and healthy. My little guy is 19 months old and thriving well for his age. My heart is doing great and so far nothing crazy is going on :-) I hope everything is going well with everyone else!

What a beautiful story. I understand the pain of losing a baby. On the plus side, however, you learned that you do not have pulmonary hypertension (disastrous) and that you tolerate a pregnancy. And then you were blessed with a wonderful little boy (make that BIG boy). That's an encouraging story for all our pregnant or contemplating pregnancy members. Yes, praise The Lord!
