Hi there my good buddies
I have just been told about a new pacemaker that is inserted into the groin and only takes 7 minutes to implant.

Several people have posted articles on them recently. Two versions have recently been approved for testing. They're tiny and actually sit in the heart. It's exciting news but ...

- they are single chamber
- they do not work with existing traditional leads
- if you are dependent, you are not a candidate

Most of us here don't qualify on all three counts. But it's still a great start! Who knows where they'll take it in another 10 or 15 years.

They are also working on one that recharged from our movement.
