Time for #3

I'm 53 and fit (except for my ticker). Back in March I was told that my PM was running low on juice and that I'd probably have to have it replaced around the end of the year. Well, Monday is the day. My last PM came with a lead removal and replacement, so this one will be much less invasive as they'll reuse the old leads. With luck, I'll be home before lunch.

That's all. Just sharing.

Home by lunch

The leads were fine so the Dr only had to replace the generator and glue me back together. I pace 100% of the time and have a resting, non-pacing HR of about 30 BPM. The procedure took about 45 minutes and I was awake for the second 1/2 of it. Kinda cool.

So, I checked in at 7:00, in the OR by 8:30 and home by 10:30. Not bad.
