Life is so much better!

I know I rarely check in... My apologies. I'm too busy enjoying Life. After 50 years of never knowing when I would faint next, taking unnecessary meds, and false diagnoses, having the cause actually proven and getting a PM that controls my rate drops totally changed my Life.
I still work full time, garden like crazy, and perform with my husband at coffeehouses and folk music festivals.
I hope pacemaker technologies keep improving, but I can honestly say mine has greatly improved my Life. I hope you all are helped as as much as. I was.

It's great to hear from someone who has their life back. Have fun and come back once in a while if you feel like it.

Hi Mandogrf,

I've heard of this happening to others also.

One of the pacemaker reps that I met along the way mentioned to me she has a pacemaker too!

For years she was misdiagnosed and medicated as having epilepsy, it wasn't until she went on vacation with her family, was rushed to the ER in Florida and a savvy doctor detected her heart was the issue.

She said having the pacemaker was the best thing for her, and that's the reason she became a Medtronic PM rep.

Thanks for sharing your story.
