PM replaced

This is note to the People who responded to my cry for help, when i was in fear of having my PM repaced.
I just had the surgery this week ,it was not bad at all.
The new PM will last 8-9 years and hope to be around for the next one.
Thank you all again
Ingrid from Texas

Thank you for the update and the positive report. I ocassionally think about when I have to have mine replaced...even though it's not for a few years.

Actually, everyone on this forum has a different story, different medical needs, and certainly different concerns about our pacemakers. However we ALL have to have our devices replaced someday, so it's good to hear about your good experience.

Glad all went well.

Hi Ingrid,

I bet you are so relieved that it is over! I have only had my PM 3 1/2 months and I am constantly thinking about the time I will need it replaced. I know that is silly but I don't want to go through one more surgery for anything more. I am glad to hear that is wasn't as bad as you expected. Hope you are doing well.

Take care and I will be praying for you,

I am glad to hear you had a decent experience getting your pm replaced! You sound like you are in great spirits. You have also helped me calm some of my fears of getting mine replaced. I have approx. 1 year left. Thank you!

Cheers,
Jenny
