Increase vasculature and brusings

Now 10mos post pacemaker and doing well.As I mentioned severals mos ago I've had some scarring over the incision and often notice some bruising around the incision.There are small ares of vascularization in the area around the scar.Is this normal?

Hi Hagen.

Whether it is normal or not, I cannot say. All I can tell you, is that I've had my pacemaker almost 4 years this month, and it is totally encircled by a vein, which gives the impression that it protrudes a lot.
It hasn't bothered me, other than the fact that it doesn't look very attractive.
But, that's my personal opinion. My body's way of creating a natural tattoo, since I don't like them to begin with. Lol.
