DO'S AND DON'TS

Where do I go to find out what I can and cannot do since I now have a pacemaker. Is it safe to ride on a lawnmower/garden tractor. How safe is a cell phone or a mircowave. Where do I find a list that tells me these things.

If you look under Forums on this site you'll see one titled Interferences. It has postings about things that can be a problem with your pacemaker. Your pacemaker manufacturer probably has a website that should have detailed information. I have a Medtronic and they have a very helpful website.

When I got my pm I was given a list from St. Jude's that has all sorts of good advice on what to stay away from. I am sure that you could contact the manufacturer of your pm and get information.
