Smarthealth Contact Heart Rate Monitor

I purchased one of these on line from Assist Creative Resources, Wrexham. At any time, by just placing two fingers on the watch it gives an accurate heart rate, ideal if you worry about it, or you are exercising, and wish to know your BPM.
I had excellent service and follow up from this Company, they can be trusted to supply and service anything in this line.

Watch HR monitor

This type of monitor uses the ECG electrical signal from the heart to measure HR. It is also common on exercise machines where you have an electrode under each hand. Just be aware that the reading might be affected by the pacemaker, which can alter the look of the ECG. It can either have problems getting a reading or sometime give a reading that is double the actual HR. Whether or not you have a problem depends on why you have the a pacer and its settings.

No Problems

I have always found it to be very accurate both when exercising in the Gym and all other times. I have never failed to get a reading. I have never seen in the Gym an exercise machine where you have an electrode under each hand, other than where you grip two handles on the machine to give you a reading. Normally exercise watches transmit via belt and chest strap, not electrodes, your BPM to be displayed on the machine. This watch does away for the need of the belt and the chest strap.
