Question of the year for me... since solar flares have become a common topic lately.. I am beginning to wonder if anyone has information or wondered if solar flares can affect pacemakers?
If solar flares can affect pacemakers or disrupt it... isn't this a conversation we should all be having with our doctors just incase?

no, not a problem, cant see how this would be remotely possible.

Yesterday was my first day mountain biking after my implant. I wiped out several times and everything is fine. There are sports after pacemakers!

Well, I suppose anything is possible and you do hear about major power outages that are attributed to flares, but there;s a big difference between a large power grid and something like a pacemaker.
But frankly, it's not something I'm going to be worrying about.
Even if there were a proven link, just what could you do about it, short of living in a Faraday cage?
