Strange email

Hello 👋🏻 all

Has anyone received an email...very long one. ...informing us that Pacemaker Club has been taken over by ForHearts Worldwide? It's written very well and for that reason I will have open mind !!!!??/

Back in my last post I mention my newly discovered issue.....mild  dilated ascending Aorta 🫀{39mm}   I just have my normal checkup and discussed this concern 🙁 in length with my cardiologist. So...all is well with my Pacemaker....replacing time left at least 3-4 years {implanted in 2016...dual Medtronic}....Aorta 🫀 issue will be regularly  monitored and before my next appointment {in May} I will have Thoracic Echocardiogram etc. Happy 😊 with that. Lifestyle is not changing.

How many people, other than Good Dog have Aortic issues? By the way how is your wife doing ? All my love to you both. Stay well and merry Xmas 🎄

Hope and wish ALL the Members the most wonderful day.....remember one day at the time!! Love and kindness heals all wounds.

R2D2....I  fully get you and your way of thinking {enjoy reading it} 🤔 but our minds are only 1 part of the storyline called...  life-karma-humanity-homosapien and God knows what else! Happy 😃 Xmas 🎄

As New to Pace indicated, that email is legit! I just want to thank you for the well wishes (for my wife)! She is doing well. The recovery is a little slower than anticipated, but all is well!

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!

Sincerely,

Dave

Yes it's true. I've been familiar with For Hearts for a long time now. It's a terrific organization that does great work, and I'm excited to see what's in store for us.

As for my pacemaker (almost 7 years old) I like to think of it in the terms of the old Timex commercial - takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
